Namaste! I am Suraj Chapagain. Originally from Dingla, Bhojpur (my birth place), I currently reside in Kumarigal-6, Bouddha, Kathmandu.
It’s now almost a decade that photography has been a way of seeing the world for me. As an experimental photographer, I am trying to click the shutter to delve into my surroundings regardless of paths and styles of photography.
As an architect and urban designer, I’ve always been fascinated by ‘Natural Scenes’ and what they contain—including hills, landscapes, rivers, bridges, monuments, and most importantly, the cause of its existence: Natural Beauty.
Professionally, I am an employee at one of Nepal's top leading companies, Nepal Life Insurance Company, as part of the IT team. I have been working in the Hardware and Networking section since 2065-01-03 B.S. and continue to serve the company. While IT-Cyber Security is my profession, my side-great hobby and passion remains photography, which I pursue dedicatedly.
My personal site is a collection of my journey—from family memories to my travels across the globe. I have a deep passion for documenting life, whether it's the bustling streets of Singapore, the underwater wonders of Pattaya, or the serene holy places of Nepal like Janakpur and Pathibhara. I am also dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Late Chandra Prasad Chapagain through his collection of classic black and white photographs, keeping history alive.
Beyond photography, I am deeply connected to my roots and community initiatives.
